PG&E’s Applied Technology Services is hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer in San Ramon to lead technical electrical work, including arc-flash and grounding safety programs, high-voltage and current analysis, substation switchyard grounding, live-line procedures, incident investigations, and new-technology development. The role leads teams, manages project scope and budgets, supports client relationships, and requires travel for assignments 5% to 10% of the time. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10 years of related experience; a professional engineer license and utility-sector experience are desired. The salary range is $155,000 to $265,000.
