Description
AECOM is hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer for its Water Team to lead the design, review, and delivery of electrical and ICA elements for wastewater and water infrastructure and treatment projects. The role covers site surveys, load schedules, single-line diagrams, MCC arrangements, instrument schedules, cable calculations, PLC/SCADA systems, P&ID input, and all design stages, while also managing bids, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and mentoring junior staff. The position is based across AECOM’s North and Midlands offices in Birmingham, Chesterfield, Leeds, and Manchester, with a flexible hybrid working model.
