Description
AECOM is hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer for its Water Team to lead electrical and ICA design across wastewater and water infrastructure and treatment projects. The role covers site surveys, load schedules, single-line diagrams, MCC arrangements, instrument schedules, cable calculations, PLC/SCADA systems, P&ID input, and design review across feasibility through construction stages. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support bids, manage project delivery, and mentor junior staff. The position is based across AECOM’s North and Midlands offices in Birmingham, Chesterfield, Leeds, and Manchester, with a flexible hybrid working model.
