Description
AECOM is hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer for its Belfast office to design and review electrical and instrumentation-and-control elements for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, from feasibility and detailed design through construction support and handover. The role includes producing electrical schedules, diagrams, P&IDs, control specifications, PLC/SCADA documentation, site surveys, and leading electrical scope for wastewater treatment works, water treatment works, and infrastructure projects. The engineer will also manage project programmes and budgets, mentor graduates and engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The position offers a hybrid work model and requires an electrical engineering degree, relevant water and wastewater design experience, project-management and mentoring experience, and chartered or near-chartered professional status.
