Description
Egis is hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer to provide technical design and leadership for electrical networks, substations, asset upgrades, distributed generation, and related feasibility and business-case work. The role can be based in Wellington, Christchurch, or Auckland, New Zealand, and may be full-time, part-time, or job-share. Candidates should have tertiary electrical engineering qualifications, chartered status, 15+ years of experience, and expertise in transmission, distribution, or substation design, along with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, NEARA, PLS CADD, or similar tools. The position includes business development, project scoping, estimating, and support for the NZ Energy offering, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements and employer-funded health and life insurance.
