Description
The Principal Electrical Engineer is a senior electrical engineering specialist responsible for complex conceptual, FEED, and detailed design, analysis, calculations, reports, and project execution. The role may lead functional teams or projects, coordinate with engineering disciplines, fabrication, procurement, customers, and regulatory agencies, manage budgets and schedules, approve discipline deliverables, support pre-commissioning and commissioning, and guide less experienced engineers. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 15–20 years of oil and gas experience, and preferably a registered professional engineer or professional engineering society membership. The position is hybrid.
