OKSI is hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, qualification, and production release of mixed-signal, embedded, and sensor-interface hardware for AI-powered defense and commercial systems. The role owns electrical workstreams from requirements through release, integrates processors, FPGAs, sensors, and power subsystems, leads validation and risk activities, manages vendor and lifecycle activities, and mentors junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and 7–9 years of relevant experience, along with expertise in embedded computing, SWaP-constrained systems, electronic interfaces, analog and digital electronics, and CAD tools. The role pays $150,000–$250,000 annually in California and includes fully paid medical, dental, and vision coverage.
