Honeybee Robotics is hiring a Rover Autonomy Lead for its CT-4 lunar rover to lead the implementation of an onboard classical perception and navigation system that maps terrain and avoids hazards in real time. The role owns the capability from concept through field testing and flight operations, leads vehicle-control software coding, testing, validation, and software field deployments, and collaborates with scientists, engineering, product management, and program management. Required qualifications include a relevant bachelor's degree, more than 10 years of embedded software development experience, C/C++ baremetal application development, spaceflight avionics, testing, sensor drivers, autonomous safety-critical fault recovery, reliable software architecture, Git, digital communication protocols, automated testing, and basic hardware debugging. The California base-pay range is $230,773.00 to $323,081.85, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid leave, and other benefits.
