Description
GlobalFoundries is hiring a new college graduate for its Device Engineering team as a Silicon Photonics Compact Modeling Engineer. The role develops, validates, documents, and supports production-quality compact models for silicon photonic devices used in advanced Process Design Kits, including parameter extraction, model calibration, quality assurance, EDA integration, and collaboration with device, characterization, process integration, and design enablement teams. Candidates must be graduating with a master’s or PhD in a relevant field, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and be fluent in English; related internship, leadership, semiconductor or photonic modeling experience, and programming or EDA experience are preferred. The expected salary range is $85,000 to $146,000.
