Description
Kargo is hiring a Principal Engineer for its Platform organization to set multi-year technical direction across Workflow, Self-Service Agentic Ad Buying, and Creative Hub. The role owns distributed-system architecture, service boundaries, data ownership, LLM-backed and agentic feature reliability, shared infrastructure, and the technical interview bar, while mentoring Senior and Staff engineers. Candidates need 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years at Staff or Principal level, plus expertise in distributed systems, data modelling, integrations, LLM-backed systems, and high-performance languages such as TypeScript or Golang. The U.S. base salary range is $200,000–$230,000 USD, with variable compensation available.
