Description
Boston Materials is hiring a Principal Engineer, Advanced Manufacturing to lead the commissioning and ongoing operation of high-volume manufacturing lines. The role bridges materials development and production scale-up, working with equipment and process engineering teams to commission equipment, optimize workflows, implement MES and related digital tools, establish line readiness and qualification protocols, develop process control and quality systems, and translate developmental processes into repeatable manufacturing. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering or materials science discipline, experience transitioning materials-based processes to controlled manufacturing, and familiarity with manufacturing software, qualification protocols, process control, and QA/QC systems.
