Description
DigitalOcean is hiring a Principal Engineer, AI/ML Security to lead AI security strategy, governance, risk, and operationalization of AI/ML security at cloud scale. The role partners with Product Security, Engineering, Security Data Science, and Security leadership; leads adversarial testing, red teaming, threat modeling, security reviews, model monitoring, and executive risk communications; and owns AI security controls across DigitalOcean and Cloudways. It requires 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 4–5 years in AI/ML security, adversarial machine learning, or security data science, along with strong Python and Go skills and production AI/ML security expertise. The position is remote and offers a base salary of $230,400–$288,000 plus potential bonus and equity.
