Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring an experienced RFIC Design Engineer for its Wireless IP Design Group. The role designs RFIC blocks and modules for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, UWB, and other wireless products, including synthesizers, VCOs, LO generation, transmitter and receiver chains, baseband blocks, and biasing. Responsibilities include schematic design and simulation, layout review, system-level budgeting, validation, debugging, and collaboration with foundry and layout teams. The position requires a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of RF/Analog CMOS IC design experience, or an M.S. with 7.5+ years of experience, along with extensive RF CMOS, tape-out, layout, and IC test and debug experience.
