Description
Anaplan is hiring a Principal Engineer in Manchester, United Kingdom to lead the design, delivery, and architecture of enterprise-scale API gateways, edge routing, and developer-acceleration capabilities. The role owns high-throughput backend engines, multi-tenant isolation, deployment infrastructure, GitOps workflows, observability, rate limiting, concurrency, and complex distributed-system challenges. It requires extensive enterprise platform engineering experience, deep Java or Kotlin expertise, distributed-system knowledge, API-gateway and Kubernetes experience, and the ability to mentor engineers and communicate complex architectural decisions across global teams.
