Description
Assystem is hiring a Principal Engineer for its Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit to deliver front-end engineering for small modular reactors, advanced modular reactors, and fusion projects. Reporting to the FEED Engineering Manager, the role leads engineering design teams, optioneering studies, design documentation, system integration, design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP studies, and compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The position requires strong experience in nuclear, thermal power, or oil and gas engineering, systems engineering, optioneering, leadership, and UK security clearance eligibility, with a hybrid work arrangement of 1–2 remote days per week.
