EviSmart is hiring a Principal Engineer to own the end-to-end technical design and architecture of its Customer Experience Platform. The role balances short-term delivery with long-term scalability, works hands-on with 2–3 engineers, defines APIs and architectural patterns, and is accountable for uptime, production quality, and scalable systems. The position is based on-site in Downtown Vancouver, requires 7+ years of software development experience including 3+ years in technical leadership or architecture, and seeks expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, CI/CD, and production AI/ML integration.
