Description
Fluxx is hiring a full-time, exempt, remote Principal Engineer to lead architecture and implementation of large-scale initiatives on its grantmaking platform. The role combines hands-on full-stack development with Node.js, React, and modern JavaScript or TypeScript, technical leadership, code review, mentorship, architectural decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates need at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial principal or architect experience on a complex SaaS platform, along with experience across Ruby on Rails, AWS, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and related production systems. The position is open to candidates located in the United States and offers an annual base salary of $147,600–$199,800 in Zone 2, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
