Hims & Hers is hiring a Principal Engineer to architect and productionize AI-driven patient-facing services for its Applied AI team. The role owns end-to-end service architecture, reliability, observability, scalability, and operational readiness; partners with research and clinical stakeholders; mentors senior technical leaders; and balances near-term delivery with durable architecture. Candidates need 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, deep architectural expertise, a production systems track record, hands-on engineering ability, and some exposure to LLM or AI-powered systems.
