IRIS Software Group is hiring a Principal Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership across software development teams and shape the architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction of its products. The role involves delivering scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions; leading architectural decisions; modernising legacy platforms; improving engineering practices; and mentoring engineers. It requires significant software engineering and distributed-team leadership experience, strong Microsoft technology expertise including C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure, and knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and modern software architecture.
