Description
Serko is hiring a Principal Engineer to own the technical vision and architecture of its AI Platform & Operations. The role focuses on building self-serve internal developer platforms that enable AI teams to deploy, monitor, and scale models safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include defining the AI platform roadmap, establishing deployment and reliability standards, optimizing GPU and compute costs, improving observability, and mentoring senior engineers. The position requires 12+ years of engineering experience, including at least 4 years at a Principal or Distinguished level, along with expertise in model serving, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, MLOps tools, Python, and LLM inference. It is a remote role based in Washington or California, with a base salary of $168,000–$230,000 USD annually.
