Description
Sutter County Development Services is seeking a Principal Engineer to supervise and manage staff and professional civil engineering activities across land development, water resources, capital projects, public works, stormwater management, floodplain management, and related programs. The role includes directing complex projects, reviewing plans and designs, conducting feasibility and cost studies, administering contracts, interpreting codes and regulations, preparing reports and presentations, and coordinating with departments, businesses, and the public. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture and four years of civil engineering experience, and must be registered as a Professional Civil Engineer in California.
