Terrific is hiring a Principal Engineer for a contract, remote role in LATAM to set the technical direction of its live shopping platform. The role owns end-to-end architecture across backend, frontend, data, AI, and real-time systems; drives engineering standards, performance, reliability, and observability; mentors engineers; and partners with product, design, and data teams. It requires 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, expert Node.js and TypeScript skills, distributed real-time systems experience, and production AI/ML experience, with GCP, commerce, and live video experience advantageous.
