Description
Valid is hiring a Principal Engineer to serve as the top day-to-day engineer, partnering with the CTO on engineering direction, making technical decisions, and leading and mentoring the engineering team. The role combines hands-on software development, high-level architecture, distributed-systems engineering, and technical leadership. It requires at least six years of software engineering experience, three years leading technical teams, strong Python and cloud infrastructure skills, and familiarity with AI/ML platforms. The position is remote-possible with a preference for in-person work at the company's San Francisco headquarters.
