Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Principal Engineer C&I – Infrastructure and Facilities in Barrow-in-Furness to develop shore-based IV&V capability and facilities for highly complex integrated systems in the SSN AUKUS Platform Complex Systems domain. The role leads IV&V requirements, establishes prototype and integration infrastructure, develops off-boat test infrastructure, and supports third-party interface testing. It requires a BEng (Hons) or MEng or equivalent engineering or control and instrumentation experience, knowledge of control systems, system integration, and fieldbus technologies, and experience setting up common infrastructure for large projects. The position is hybrid, with two onsite days every second week, and offers relocation support subject to eligibility criteria.
