Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring an FPGA Characterization Engineer to characterize FPGA products, with emphasis on high-speed protocols, digital and mixed-signal designs, characterization specifications, firmware development, timing and power analysis, and correlation of pre-silicon results with silicon measurements. The role requires a BSEE or MSEE, 8–16 years of product characterization or silicon validation experience, extensive serial-protocol and FPGA characterization experience, laboratory equipment expertise, and knowledge of Verilog or VHDL. The position may lead teams based on experience and requires 25%–50% travel.
