Principal Engineer - Classical Cryptography & Architecture at IonQ

IonQ is hiring a Principal Engineer to own the classical cryptography architecture and implementation strategy for post-quantum cryptography hardware acceleration products targeting HSM and network-appliance applications. The role covers symmetric and asymmetric primitives, hash functions, RSA/ECC offload, entropy, key management, hybrid classical/post-quantum schemes, crypto agility, migration mechanisms, third-party IP evaluation, and FIPS 140-3 and CAVP certification.
