Description
Wayve is hiring a Principal Engineer to design and guide the evolution of its core compute and storage systems for AI infrastructure. The role covers global compute strategy, petabyte-scale data federation, cross-region GPU job execution, cloud infrastructure advisory, and technical leadership and mentorship. Candidates should have 10+ years designing large-scale distributed systems, at least 4 years focused on GPU-based cloud infrastructure, experience with large-scale AI workloads, advanced knowledge of petabyte-scale data architecture, and an advanced degree or equivalent industry experience. The role is hybrid and may be based in London, Sunnyvale, Yokohama, Herzliya, Vancouver, or Leonberg, with relocation support and visa sponsorship where applicable.
