HPE is hiring a Principal Engineer focused on the data path for HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000, an object storage product. The role leads software systems architecture and development, evaluates technologies and development partners, ensures architectural and quality standards, and mentors developers. It requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or an equivalent field, plus 15+ years of storage or system engineering product development experience, including V1 product delivery and strong C/C++, data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, and OS internals expertise. The position is hybrid, requiring approximately two days per week in an HPE office.
