Description
Orenda is hiring a Principal Engineer, Development to serve as the owner's engineer for its New York City battery energy storage portfolio. The role sets and maintains engineering standards and technical specifications, reviews engineering partners' designs for compliance and cross-trade consistency, provides technical direction and mentorship, supports SCADA and controls integration, equipment evaluation, procurement, commissioning, and new technology development, and reports to the Director of Development. The position is full-time and in-office in Brooklyn, New York, with regular travel to project sites, and offers a base salary of $150,000-$420,000 per year plus a performance-based bonus and benefits.
