Description
Freshworks is hiring a Principal Engineer - Machine Learning to lead the architecture and technical strategy for backend services powering its Agentic AI Platform. The role focuses on agent runtime orchestration, APIs and SDKs, stateful memory systems, multi-agent communication, cloud-native microservices, LLM performance and cost optimization, RAG and vector-database integrations, observability, and engineering standards. It requires 12–18 years of software engineering and machine learning system development experience, deep Java and Python expertise, and advanced distributed systems knowledge. The position is hybrid, requiring an in-office presence three days per week on Tuesdays through Thursdays.
