Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Principal Engineer – Mechanical Engineering (Pressurised Air & Gas) to lead the design and development of high-integrity pressurised air and gas systems for next-generation Royal Navy submarines. The role covers system-level design, modelling and analysis, documentation, verification and validation, safety justification, supplier engagement, procurement, engineering governance, and delivery against milestones, with flexibility toward technical leadership, people leadership, or specialist technical delivery. The position is based in Barrow-in-Furness or Coventry with hybrid working options, and applicants must be BAE Systems employees with at least 12 months in their current role.
