Wayve is hiring a Principal Engineer for its Model Development Platform to own the end-to-end architecture of its AI model lifecycle, from data ingestion and training through experiment scheduling and on-road testing. The role leads platform reliability, scalability, distributed compute, ML Ops, data pipelines, and optimization systems while partnering with research, product, and operations teams. It requires 10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems, ML/AI infrastructure, web applications, or developer platforms, including at least 3 years as a staff or principal-level engineer, and is based in Sunnyvale, California in a hybrid arrangement.
