Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Principal Engineer – Prototype Lead (System Integration, Verification and Validation) in Barrow-in-Furness for a full-time onsite role. The position leads the IV&V prototype project for SSNA Platform Complex Systems, establishes programme requirements and infrastructure, manages procurement and integration of plant models and system prototypes, and oversees model-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop capabilities. The role requires an engineering or systems-engineering degree or equivalent experience, functional modelling expertise, systems IV&V knowledge, and experience with large-project infrastructure. The advertised salary is circa £55,000, with a £5,000 referral bonus, and the closing date was 16 October 2026.
