AECOM is hiring a Principal Engineer - Secondary Substation for its Transmission & Distribution team in India. The role leads and mentors Protection & Control engineers, develops and optimizes substation protection and control designs, reviews supplier designs, performs coordination studies, supports bids and client relationships, ensures compliance with international standards, and contributes to budgets and schedules. The position requires a Master of Engineering degree, a Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer license, and mandatory experience in high-voltage plant design for EHV grid substations; 12–15 years of experience is preferred. The role is hybrid, requiring work from an AECOM office at least three days per week, with in-person Day 1 onboarding.
