Description
BlackSky is hiring a Principal Engineer, Spacecraft Test Development to transition satellite tests from engineer-driven new-product campaigns to repeatable, highly automated production processes. The role leads qualification and acceptance test plans, production test strategies, automation, procedures, and Ground Support Equipment; coordinates with systems engineering, production AI&T, and spacecraft subsystem teams; and establishes standards for test readiness, safety, robustness, and error-proofing. The position is on-site in Tukwila, Washington, reports to the VP of Spacecraft Engineering, and requires a bachelor’s degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field plus at least 12 years of spacecraft integration and test experience.
