Micron is hiring an SSD Firmware Test Architect to own the end-to-end test architecture, validation strategy, and quality system for enterprise, data center, and automotive SSD firmware. The role designs functional, performance, reliability, QoS, PLP, FTL, GC, power, and security tests; builds automation frameworks, long-stability systems, and CI/CD pipelines; leads root-cause analysis and critical firmware issue resolution; and supports product architecture reviews and test-team capability improvement. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, at least 8 years of SSD firmware test or development experience or 3 years as a test architect or technical leader, and expertise in NVMe, PCIe, SATA, Linux, Python/C/Shell, and storage protocols.
