Description
Micron is hiring a Principal Engineer, SSD Validation to lead firmware validation strategy, test architecture, automation, quality systems, and reliability for enterprise, data center, and automotive SSD products. The role owns validation methodologies, root-cause analysis, cross-functional alignment, technical leadership, and continuous improvement, while also applying AI-assisted tools to improve validation efficiency. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering or computer science field and more than eight years of SSD firmware validation or development experience, along with expertise in NVMe, PCIe, SATA, Linux, Python, C, Shell scripting, and storage validation tools.
