Description
Infineon is hiring a Principal Engineer for System Application Engineering to design and validate high-power motor-drive hardware, including MCU-based motor drives, PFC, high-power inverters, gate drivers, and sensing circuits. The role covers PCB layout, prototype bring-up, system bench testing, fault isolation, motor-control system validation, and technical leadership through design reviews, specifications, documentation, and mentoring. Candidates should have an electrical, power-electronics, mechatronics, or related degree and at least 8 years of hands-on experience designing motor-drive hardware and high-power electronic circuits.
