HARMAN is hiring a Principal Engineer, System FMEA in Bucharest, Romania, to own the technical integrity and completeness of system FMEA content across the automotive product lifecycle. The role defines FMEA scope, validates requirements and interface data, leads FMEA development with architecture, hardware, software, safety, quality, and manufacturing stakeholders, ensures traceability between system and process FMEA, and drives risk mitigation and action-plan closure. It requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical discipline, strong automotive or complex embedded-systems experience, and hands-on knowledge of AIAG and VDA FMEA methodology. The position is hybrid, with most office-based work onsite three days per week, and offers an annual gross base salary of 337,500–495,000 lei.
