Description
ASM is hiring a Principal Engineer for Electrostatic Chuck (ESC) to report to the Expert System Engineering Manager and lead the design and delivery of ESC and heater hardware platforms and modules. The role focuses on developing innovative technologies beyond legacy solutions, supporting customer-specific designs and cost reduction, managing engineering projects, collaborating with universities and research organizations, and driving R&D and patent creation. Required qualifications include a master’s or PhD in mechanical or electrical engineering, semiconductor-processing hardware experience, expertise in relevant materials, knowledge of clamping and thermal engineering, vacuum and plasma physics, mechanical design, and system thinking.
