Rocket Lab is hiring a Principal Engineer - TS/SCI Clearance to oversee satellite programs at its Long Beach headquarters. The role supports the Space Systems Chief Engineer and provides oversight of spacecraft system engineering, including requirements derivation, verification, performance budgets, testing, simulation, analysis, future architectures, and program management. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline, active TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and at least 12 years of satellite or spacecraft program experience. The position offers a base salary of $173,000–$260,000 USD plus equity, with total compensation of $223,000–$339,000 USD.
