Description
Alcon is hiring a Principal I Automation & Control Engineer to lead technical projects involving the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of instrument, electrical, and automation control systems. The role applies mathematical modeling, dynamic behavior analysis, and control theory to create effective controllers, makes significant technical decisions, and maintains GxP compliance through SOPs, documentation, quality control, and training. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, at least 10 years of automation engineering experience including 5 years in medical or manufacturing industries, and hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA/HMI systems, and automation inspection systems.
