Synopsys is hiring a Principal Applications Engineer to support the deployment and adoption of advanced memory characterization solutions for leading semiconductor companies worldwide. The role combines deep expertise in memory design, characterization, circuit simulation, library generation, signoff, and advanced modeling with customer engagement, technical leadership, proof-of-concept and production deployment support, complex issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates should have experience with characterization tools such as PrimeLib, LiberateMX, SiliconSmart, and simulation technologies including HSPICE, PrimeSim XA, CustomSim, Spectre, and NanoTime, along with knowledge of NLDM, CCS timing and noise, variation-aware methodologies, and scripting in Python, Tcl, or AI.
