ASM is hiring a Principal Field Process Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon to serve as a senior individual contributor and technical authority for customer-facing process applications. The role owns new product introductions, on-site process and hardware development, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, process transfers to high-volume manufacturing fabs, and the development of Best Known Methods. Candidates need an M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant science or engineering field, 7–10 years of thin-film deposition experience, and expertise in semiconductor device integration, vacuum systems, film metrology, and structured problem solving.
