Description
The role develops embedded firmware, control algorithms, and reusable features for optical amplifier modules, optical transport subsystems, and micro-optics products. It combines 80% firmware development with 20% technical leadership, including mentoring, code reviews, customer support, new-product introduction, manufacturing support, and legacy-defect resolution. The position requires an electrical engineering, computer science, or related degree, at least eight years of embedded and real-time control-system experience, advanced embedded C++ and object-oriented design, knowledge of NIOS, ARM, and GNU toolchains, Agile and DevOps experience, and laboratory debugging skills.
