Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring a Senior Firmware Engineer for its Human Machine Interface Division to develop embedded firmware for automotive and industrial touchscreen and human interface solutions. Reporting to the HMID Software Manager, the role covers the full embedded software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation, debugging, optimization, peer review, project management, and mentorship of junior engineers. The position is based at the Whiteley office with 0–25% travel and requires a B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering or equivalent, plus 10+ years of non-managerial industrial experience in the embedded firmware domain.
