Description
AST SpaceMobile is hiring a Principal Flight Software Engineer to lead embedded Linux and networking software for its satellite fleet. The role covers BSP bring-up, device drivers, protocol stacks, link-layer communication, software architecture, code standards, mentoring, simulation, integration testing, and ownership of build, CI, release, and configuration-management processes. The engineer will also serve as the technical point of contact for other engineering teams and program leadership. The position requires at least eight years of professional software engineering experience, with significant embedded Linux expertise, and involves occasional travel to support integration, testing, or cross-team collaboration.
