Invisible Technologies is seeking a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to lead high-impact, AI-powered solutions for clients. This hybrid role involves AI engineering, software development, and technical consulting, focusing on driving strategy, architecture, and execution of end-to-end systems. The FDE will partner with stakeholders, identify transformational opportunities, lead architecture design, and own projects from discovery to deployment, while also building shared infrastructure and mentoring engineers.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science and related fields
Required Previous Experiences: 12+ years of software engineering experience, including significant time spent building data, ML, or backend systems
Preferred Qualifications: Strong product and system design instincts
Experience building usable systems from messy data and ambiguous requirements
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Proven experience owning projects from scoping through deployment in ambiguous, high-stakes environments
Ability to be on-call for customers
Ability to travel roughly 25–50% of the time, sometimes short-notice trips—primarily across North America with occasional international roll-outs—to work directly on-site with clients
