Microsoft is hiring a Principal Data Scientist to serve as a customer-embedded, forward-deployed engineering leader for a strategic account. The role translates business needs into technical solutions, builds and ships production-grade solutions, partners with senior stakeholders, and transitions work to FDE crews. Candidates need a relevant doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree plus the corresponding years of data-science experience, customer-facing project-delivery or consulting experience, end-to-end solution delivery experience, and fluency in Japanese and English.
