Microsoft is hiring a Principal Full-Stack Software Engineer for its AI Experiences and Copilot Engineering team in Mountain View, California. The role builds scalable AI companion experiences across voice, vision, text, and action; owns features end-to-end; collaborates with applied AI researchers; and ships experiments and product improvements. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least six years of technical engineering experience, with full-stack, Python, and scalable web API experience preferred. The position requires local residence in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and office attendance four days per week.
